Benjamin Butterfield and Others Pay Tribute to Composer John Beckwith in Birthday Celebration Virtual Concert

On March 9th, legendary Toronto composer John Beckwith will turn 94 years old. To celebrate his remarkable life, a group of 36 singers, including Schwalbe’s own tenor Benjamin Butterfield, will perform in a 2 hour concert streaming for free on YouTube this Sunday. The virtual concert will feature artists performing from all over the world, including soprano Barbara Hannigan joining from Paris.
