McGegan and the Detroit Symphony "Could Not Have Been More Engaging"

McGegan brought to Detroit the same engaging interpretation [of a Bach overture and concerto] that we used to expect from him during his PBO tenure....As usual, the video crew seemed to have been as engaged in the score as conductor and musicians were....McGegan’s interpretations [of the Bologne Symphony] were as expressive as his approaches to Bach, and his interpretations of Haydn’s wit [in Symphony No. 82, "The Bear"] could not have been more engaging.
