Patrick Dupré Quigley Talks ‘Morgiane’ With Early Music America

Patrick Quigley recently spoke to Early Music America about the upcoming performances of Edmond DéDé’s “lost opera” Morgianne, which is a co-production by OperaCreole and Opera Lafayette. Speaking to writer Patrick D. McCoy, Quigley went into detail about what drew him to the project, saying “The vocal writing is virtuosic, the orchestration is unbelievably colorful.” Morgianne is being performed in Washington D.C. on February 3rd and 7th, as well as in New York on February 5th.
